So unfortunately the other day I found out that people aren’t really in to purchasing computer wallpapers, when they could easily make their own, or get something nearly as good if not better, for free. Feeling rather disheartened, I wondered how I could put all my wallpapers and other images to use without having created them all for nothing. Stumbling upon Graphic Leftovers I found hope! Graphic Leftovers, is a website where graphic artists and photographers can upload their works available for very reasonable prices (set by the uploaders) for the public to download and use the images however they see fit! “Brilliant!” I thought! But it turns out, that the images must be of specific size for me to upload. at least 2000 pixels by 2000 pixels. Much larger than my 1024 by 768 ones.
So with all that said, I will now be making much larger images (at least 2000 by 2000 pixels), and uploading them specifically to Graphic Leftovers for purchase. Don’t worry, my dA (Deviant Art) account will still be kept up to date with art. But it will be more of my whimsical little la-di-da type pieces. Just for fun. Anything I upload to dA that is also available on Graphic Leftovers will have a watermark.
The Glorious Graphics Blog will still be used to show and display my new pieces, but will also have watermarks. Hopefully, if GG grows, I can begin doing contests and such for my subscribers (that is if I ever break 50 subs. And to the 2 subscribers I have right now! Many thanks! Love you both!). But, of course, we will cross that bridge when we come to it. For now, everything is free!
